Hello Friends,

Those of you local to South Wales may recognise the view from the top pf Pen-Y-Fan! We decided to pack breakfast and the kids into the car early one morning and attempt the climb for the first time in about six years. It was a sunny but very windswept view and although this was taken at the end of the summer holidays I’m still not sure my legs have quite recovered yet!

What's On My Mind

Firstly I want to thank you all - the support for the launch of my first ever calendar has been wonderful, and I am so grateful to everyone who has liked, commented and bought the calendar so far. I really do appreciate your support. I did a limited print run of just 50 calendars and almost half of them are already sold since I launched them just over a week ago. 

What's On My Easel

Currently being worked on are some very exciting, super limited edition giclee prints of the moon paintings. I’m going to be offering just 3 prints of each moon, but each print will be hand-embellished by me and absolutely unique. They will be up on my website in plenty of time for the festive season, so I’ll drop you a line when they are available. I’m using some very exciting materials in the embellishments, including UV powder, metallic paints, holographic powder, glow in the dark paint, miniature crystals and gold leaf - I can’t wait for you to see them!

What's Next

Once the moon prints are finished it will be back to standing at the easel for me, to start work on the 3 paintings I mentioned in my last newsletter.  The expansion on the concept of the Dragon Daffodil will include paintings for England, Scotland and Ireland. I’m looking forward to seeing what people make of them when they’re completed! I’m keeping my fingers crossed they will be as popular as the daffodil one :)
