The Diesel Faerie
The third in a series of 5 paintings set in real life locations in Bristol, the Urban Faeries series depicts a little bit of magic in the everyday cityscape of urban living.
The Diesel Faerie languishes in a disused Elf petrol station behind Temple Meads. The colours of his destruction are as potent as the drop of diesel that can poison a ton of water. Literally playing with fire, he causally smokes a cigarette. There is beauty in decay and the swirls of oil at his feet are mesmerising in the recent afternoon rains.
The original painting on stretched canvas measures 20" by 30" and has been varnished and professionally framed in a 1.5" black wood frame, ready to hang.
Also available on my Etsy store as a signed art print and a postcard.
